Inline forms, click-to-open, and reusable questions

Put a form directly on your page, open it from a button, reuse questions across forms so answers add up — plus single-item discounts and ready-made consent blocks.

Until now a Formtoro form was a popup. This release makes it something you can put anywhere, opened however you want.

Inline forms

Two new blocks in your theme editor:

  • Formtoro Form (inline) — drops a form straight into a section, in the flow of the page. No overlay, no dimming.
  • Formtoro Launcher — a button that opens a form when clicked.

Inline forms ignore scroll, exit-intent, cart-value, and page-view triggers, because the form is already on the page. The builder tells you this rather than letting you set a trigger that does nothing.

The "On click" trigger

A new trigger for forms that should never open on their own.

  • On a popup form, it opens when someone clicks your Launcher button.
  • On an inline form, the form starts collapsed and expands in place.

Launcher buttons hide themselves when the visitor isn't in the form's audience, so you're never showing a button that opens nothing.

An "On click" form needs a Launcher button placed in your theme. The builder reminds you, but it can't see your theme — placing it is up to you.

Stop asking the same question twice

Choice and dropdown fields get a Reuse a question button. It lists questions you've already asked on your other forms — pick one and the new field adopts it.

The payoff is in your results. "What's your skin type?" asked on three forms used to give you three separate sets of answers. Reused, they add up into one.

Add an SMS consent checkbox or an email disclaimer as a block. The wording is built from your shop name and your policy links automatically — you don't write it, and Luigi doesn't invent it.

The pre-publish checklist now also covers dismiss behavior, audience, discount, teaser, trigger, thank-you step, and legal blocks. Everything on it is a suggestion, never a blocker.

Discounts: target a single item

A new What gets discounted setting:

  • Every eligible item in the cart (the default, unchanged)
  • One unit of the most expensive item
  • One unit of the least expensive item

The single-item options apply to exactly one unit — the discount doesn't grow as the shopper adds more.

Show it until they subscribe

A new display frequency, and the default for new forms: until subscribed. The form stops reappearing the moment someone gives you an email or phone on any step, not only when they finish.

It works across your whole store, so subscribing on one form quiets every other "until subscribed" form you're running.
