Built on Polaris 2.0
Formtoro now runs on Polaris 2.0, so it matches Shopify's redesigned admin screen for screen, and every admin screen is built on Shopify's own Polaris web components.
Shopify just redesigned its admin, and Formtoro looks the part. Polaris 2.0 is the design system behind the new admin, and Formtoro now runs on it. Moving between your orders, your products and your forms feels like staying in one app.
Made for the new Shopify admin
Formtoro loads Polaris 2.0 directly from Shopify, so its type, spacing, buttons, fields, banners and modals match the redesigned admin around it. There's nothing to turn on: open Formtoro and it already matches.
Polaris web components on every screen
Polaris 2.0 can style Formtoro because every admin screen is now built on Shopify's Polaris web components. That includes Forms, Analytics, Experiments, Settings and every modal. These are the same building blocks Shopify uses for its own admin. The old Polaris React library, and the custom styles we added on top of it, are gone.
Where we built our own
A few controls don't exist as Polaris web components yet, such as sliders and tabs. We built those on Polaris's own design tokens so they match the components around them. The builder's canvas, layers panel and live preview keep their purpose-built design, because they have to show your form exactly as shoppers will see it.
