Settings & team
Configure your store details, domains, team, plan, and API access.
The Settings hub gathers everything you need to administer Formtoro. Each card opens a focused section.
Store details
Your store name (pulled from Shopify), your timezone (which affects report dates), and brand context — the industry, customer, and voice notes that help Luigi write forms that sound like you.
Branding & themes
Manage your brand colors and theme catalog. See Branding & themes.
Legal & compliance
Open Settings → Legal & compliance to manage your policy links and the consent copy used across your forms.
Policy URLs
- Terms of Service URL — e.g.
https://your-store.com/pages/terms - Privacy Policy URL — e.g.
https://your-store.com/pages/privacy
Both are optional, but adding them is strongly recommended: your consent fields link to these URLs so shoppers can read your policies.
Consent copy
Customize the text shown in your forms' consent fields:
- SMS consent text — the agreement shown with an SMS consent checkbox.
- Email disclaimer text — informational text shown with email capture (no checkbox; it's a disclaimer, not an opt-in).
Inside this copy you can use three placeholders, which Formtoro fills in for you:
{{shop_name}}— your store's name.{{terms}}— a link to your Terms of Service URL.{{privacy}}— a link to your Privacy Policy URL.
Leave a field blank to use Formtoro's recommended default, or select Use
recommended to restore it. If your text is missing {{terms}} or {{privacy}},
Formtoro warns you, because shoppers wouldn't see clickable policy links.
Republish to apply changes. Policy links are baked into a form when it's published. If you change your Terms or Privacy URL (or your consent copy), republish the affected forms so the storefront picks up the new links.
New consent fields you add in the builder automatically use your saved copy and links.
Storefront delivery
- Theme app embed — popups are delivered by the Formtoro Popups app embed in your theme (Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds). Turn it on once per theme so popups can render. Inline forms instead use the Formtoro Form block added to a section.
- Storefront domains — the domains allowed to load your forms. Your Shopify shop is recognized automatically; add any custom domains.
Both are essential for forms to appear — see Going live for the full flow and a "not showing" checklist.
Integrations
Connect the tools your submissions flow into — starting with Klaviyo. See Integrations.
API and MCP connections
Mint scoped API keys and connect AI clients (Claude, ChatGPT) to your shop via the MCP server. See AI access & API keys for setup instructions and the full scope list.
Team
Invite teammates, assign roles (owner, admin, editor, viewer), and manage who has access. Each role carries a preset set of permissions, and your plan sets how many seats you have.
Plan & usage
Review your current plan and features, track your monthly submission usage against your quota, and manage your subscription through Shopify billing. If Shopify's billing API is briefly unreachable, Formtoro shows your last known plan rather than blocking you.
