Logic and targeting that read like sentences

Step logic and audience rules now read as plain sentences, open-ended answers can be read one by one in Analytics, and renaming a live option no longer splits your reporting.

Logic and audience rules hold the decisions that matter most in a form, and until now they were also the hardest part of the builder to read. Both editors have been rebuilt so a rule reads the way you'd say it out loud.

Step logic, as a sentence

In the Step Logic sheet, each rule now reads when its conditions are met, then this happens. Add one with Add rule, extend it with Add condition, and switch an AND / OR pill to decide whether every condition must match or just one.

If a step should always lead to the same place, Always go to a step creates a single Always rule without any conditions. The Logic section of the inspector shows each rule as a plain-language summary, so you can check a step's routing without opening the sheet.

See Anatomy of a rule.

Audience rules, as a sentence

Each audience group now opens with Show to visitors who match all of these rules. Click the all / any chip to switch between matching every rule and matching any one. Add "any of" group nests a group of alternatives inside your rules, up to three levels deep.

The editor also catches contradictions. If a group's rules contradict each other so that no visitor could ever match, it says so and offers Match all rules instead. A Targeting summary below the rules restates the whole audience in plain English.

See Combining rules.

Read every open-ended answer

Charts work for multiple choice questions but tell you nothing about what people typed. In Analytics → Responses, an Open-ended questions section now has a card for each free-text question with a View all answers link. It opens a searchable, paginated list of every answer in the selected period.

Questions marked as sensitive show a Sensitive — hidden badge, and their answers stay hidden.

See Responses.

Smaller things

  • Renaming a live option keeps your data together. Renaming a choice or dropdown option on a published form changes only its label. The stored value stays the same, so past and future responses stay grouped in reporting and logic.
  • Consent copy is editable per form. The consent text's Content box understands {{shop_name}}, {{terms}} and {{privacy}}, and you can translate link words inline, like {{terms:Nutzungsbedingungen}}. See Changing the wording.
  • Shopper behavior on Analytics. A new Shopper behavior section on the overview shows checkouts started and completed, checkouts from visitors who engaged with a form, cart intent, and an Add to cart by form table. The data comes from the Web Pixel and only counts shoppers who consented to tracking.
  • Smoother drag and drop. Dragging an element on the canvas snaps to the nearest slot, and the cursor stays visible when you drag across the preview.
  • Clearer toolbar controls. Preview device, inspector panel and visibility state are now segmented controls.
  • A clearer note when ad data is late. If an ad platform doesn't respond, the Ads section says Some ad metrics are temporarily unavailable and suggests refreshing. Your data is safe, and this usually clears up on its own.
